Cassandra is a lifelong social justice activist, an executive officer in the Windham/ Willimantic NAACP and founder of Willimantic Rainbow Connection, an LGBTQ+ group. She previously served on Windham’s Zoning Board of Appeals, and currently represents the Willimantic Taxing District. Additionally, Cass brings 15 years of public school experience to her political run.
Like all Green Party candidates, our campaign does not accept money from corporations, PACs, or other special interest groups, so that we can truly serve the people’s interest. Until corporate money is out of Hartford, the well-connected will continue to influence policy and systemic change will be out of reach.
