Making Room at the Table for ALL PEOPLE

Too frequently, policies from both the Governor's office and the legislature favor those who already enjoy privilege and fail those who don't. We want to invite all Connecticut residents to participate fully in shaping our state's future. The working poor; Black brown, indigenous, and other people of color; the disabled and medically fragile; the LGBTQIA+ community; and other marginalized people cannot compete with paid lobbyists, lavish donors, or powerful corporations in gaining access to our elected officials to tell the stories of their everyday struggles.

Connecticut is one of the wealthiest states in the country, yet the gap between our haves and have-nots is greater than ever. We have abundant resources, and we can distribute them in a way that ensures that human rights and needs are upheld for all. Michelle's campaign and the Green Party especially seeks the voices of those who've gone without - food, housing, transportation, healthcare - to help shape policies that work for everyone.
